Parking is free after 4pm in all Stanford lots.

DETAILS

Each evening, teams will play two matches and be responsible for reffing one match. A match is two straight sets to 21. 

9 Week Seasons, Tuesday + Wednesday nights
September 22nd - November 18th, 7:00pm - 9:30pm

League Fees:

Coed and RevCo 4’s $600 per team.

Coed 6’s $900 per team.

More info on each format below:

  • Coed 4’s is played on a Men’s net where Men primarily attack and block. Gold division designed for BB (Intermediate) level players. B Division designed for B (lower intermediate) level players.

    • 4 players on court: 2 men, 2 women

    • Played on Men’s height net where anyone can attack and block from anywhere on the court

    • Let serves are allowed

    • No “female contact” rule, a contact by a female is not required per rally

    • Teams rotate serve; may play any position otherwise

    • No Open-hand tips

    • No Open-hand serve receive

    • Overhand sets over the net allowed only if shoulders are parallel to net and ball travels perpendicular

    • Rally scoring; matches will be played to 21 (win by 2), teams will switch sides every 7 points. ext goes here

  • Reverse Coed 4’s is played on a Women’s net where Women primarily attack and block. Gold division designed for BB (Intermediate) level players. B Division designed for B (lower intermediate) level players.

    • 4 players on court: 2 men, 2 women

    • Played on a Women’s height net where women can attack and block from anywhere on the court

    • Let serves are allowed

    • Men may not block or attack a ball completely above the height of the net

    • Teams rotate serve; may play any position otherwise

    • No Open-hand tips

    • No Open-hand serve receive

    • Overhand sets over the net allowed only if shoulders are parallel to net and ball travels perpendicular

    • Rally scoring; matches will be played to 21 (win by 2), teams will switch sides every 7 points.

  • This league is designed for fun! Bring your work friends or casual players looking for a good time on the beach.

    • 6 players on court: 4 men, 2 women (Max 4 men).

    • Played on a Men’s height net

    • Players rotate positions; must hold position until serve is contacted.

    • At least 4 players must be on court to avoid forfeit

    • All front row players can attack and block regardless of gender

    • Let serves are allowed

    • No “female contact” rule, a contact by a female is not required per rally

    • Traditional beach rules will not be enforced to make it accessible to all levels

    • Rally scoring; matches will be played to 21 (win by 2), switch sides each 7 points
